The Nightmare On Elm Street spin-off TV Series, "Freddy's Nightmares", Premiered October 9, 1988 on Fox.  Each episode was 47 minutes long (one hour with commercials). The show was cancelled after two seasons.  The last episode aired March 11, 1990.  Through its run the show produced 44 episodes (22 per season). A bunch of episodes were made available to buy.  You can usually find them on eBay.

Each episode introduced new characters and rarely had the same characters in more than one episode.  The only thing that links the episodes together is that Freddy hosts the show and it all takes place in Springwood.  From a timeline perspective, it seems the show would take place between Nightmare 5 and  Freddy's Dead.
