Buddy Powers is having a hard time dealing with his son and new boss.  Both of them value money and Buddy values peace and love.  Buddy gets labeled obsolete and his boss wants him dead.

The second half is about Christina who is wondering if she is adopted because there are no similarities between her and her mother.  When Christina asks her mom questions about her past, the answers aren't convincing.
